All about me!

Hi! My name is Danielle and I'm a first year kindergarten teacher. 

I'm 23 and graduated Spring 2015 from the University of Memphis. I did my student teaching in first grade and previously worked at a daycare where I led the extended care program for preschool children. I still live at home with my mom, step-dad, step-brother, sister and 2 wiener dogs. My boyfriend, Joey, and I have been together for 3 years. He is my rock and shows constant support with all of my teacher struggles.

I'm making this blog to share my experiences, the mistakes I make, and how I learn from them. Please stick with me while I figure out this whole teaching thing! 

Since I've just finished up my first semester, we need to play a little catch up. I'll start back as early as possible and talk about the hardships I've already had (and boy are they hard!).
